Intel Teach – Essentials

Intel® Teach – Essentials is a worldwide programme created for teachers, by teachers, to help them effectively integrate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning. The programme currently trains teachers in 30 countries on six continents. Teachers learn from other teachers how, when and where to incorporate technology tools and resources into their lesson plans. We’re working hard to make a difference to the way teachers teach and students learn. Through the Intel Teach – Essentials programme, we’re helping teachers learn how to use technology to create in-depth, personal learning experiences. This programme is designed to improve the effective use of technology in schools. More than one million teachers around the world have already participated in this programme.

Intel Teach – Essentials is available throughout Nigeria for primary and secondary school teachers. Teacher-led trainings focus on the creation of curricular units and evaluation tools. Colleges of education can take advantage of a specially-tailored Intel Teach – Essentials curriculum. The programme provides pre-service faculty with detailed, hands-on instruction for integrating technology into their teacher training courses.
