Intel® Higher Education Program in the Philippines was a key contributor to the University of the Philippines’ Distributed Graduate Instruction Program or DIGRI . DIGRI provides an alternative way of learning through asynchronous mode of delivering lectures to graduate students and is supported by a learning management system that affords information sharing between faculty and students. This program is offered to graduate students in the fields of Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) and Materials Science Engineering. This alternative mode also addresses the working student’s need to obtain advanced engineering studies without the constraint of travel time.
