The Intel® Teach Program is a professional development program that helps classroom teachers effectively integrate technology to enhance student learning. For close to a decade, Intel® Teach Program has been helping school teachers around the world understand how, when, and where to bring technology tools and resources into their classrooms. It is the most successful professional development program of its kind. To date, the program has trained more than four million teachers in more than 40 countries, and is committed to reaching 13 million teachers by 2011.
Through a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Education, Government of Sri Lanka and Intel® EM Ltd – Sri Lanka Liaison Office, Intel® has offered a teacher professional development program specifically designed for Sri Lanka.
