In the ' Summer of 2007 ' we read about how five girls from Singodi had showcased their project on village cleanliness which led to the formation of a committee for keeping the village clean. In the 'Summer of 2008' the program team decided to re-visit the story to find out if the girls were still working on what they had dreamt about – a clean village. The team was surprised to find that the girls had been inspiring and mobilizing the entire community for the past 12 months to drive the cleanliness project they had initiated in 2007. The long-term impact was heart-warming that the program team decided to capture the story so that others could draw inspiration from it.
