Anjan Ghosh
Regional Director, Corporate Affairs (Asia-Pacific), Intel.

Anjan Ghosh Anjan Ghosh heads Corporate Affairs at Intel, for the Asia Pacific region. He oversees Intel’s strategic relationships with key external stakeholder groups, in Government, Academia and Community and manages the company’s Public Policy and Corporate reputation programs, with a team spread across 13 countries. Intel’s initiatives in Education, Environment and Citizenship are key pillars of its Corporate reputation.

His areas of interest include Corporate Social responsibility, Education, Public policy on ICT for development and Digital inclusion.

He has held various positions in Governing councils of Industry associations, Chambers of commerce and University advisory boards. At present he is on the Governing Body of the US-ASEAN Business council and also Chairs the ICT working group.

He received the Intel Achievement Award, the highest recognition at Intel.

Anjan holds a doctorate in Statistics and is based in Singapore with his wife and daughter.

Ashutosh Chadha
Director of Strategic Education Initiatives, APAC

Ashutosh Chadha Ashutosh has over 20 years of experience in the field of education including higher education, K-12 as well as the community segments. A science graduate with a Post Graduate degree in management Ashutosh has extensive experience in building effective business models and managing programs around ICT Education as well as ICT enabled education.

Prior to Intel Ashutosh has worked in Microsoft, Shell as well as NIIT Ltd. Indias premier IT training company. His experience across these organizations spanned a host of functional areas from Channel Management, Marketing Sales and Product Management as well as managing businesses across geographies.

Currently Ashutosh Chadha leads Intel's Education initiative across the Asia Pacific. In this role Ashutosh drives Intel's relationships with Governments and multilateral bodies across APAC to support the appropriate policies and processes for the effective integration of technology in education and learning processes to impact student learning to prepare the learners for 21st century requirements and building knowledge economies. He also works towards supporting initiatives in helping to create models for underserved youth in the community to expose them to technology based learning and higher order thinking skills. Ashutosh also drives Intel's engagement with the higher education system across APAC to forge meaningful partnerships with universities to further the quality of higher education and support research and development to instill a scientific temperament in students.

Cecilia Ubarra
Education Manager, Philippines

Cecilia Ubarra Cecilia Ubarra is the Education Manager of Intel Technology Philippines. Cecilia’s work in Intel focuses on driving and building a sustainable eco-system for Intel’s Education programs in the Philippines related to professional development programs for teachers, promotion of 21st century learning skills and advancement of science and math education and research.

Prior to joining Intel in 2005, she worked at the Asian Institute of Management and the Institute for Strategic and Development Studies where she was engaged in program management and research related to a broad range of education, health and governance issues. In addition, she was a former instructor at the Department of Political Science of De La Salle University, Philippines.

She graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Program Administration.

Evelyn Yan
Higher Education Manager, Software and Services Group, Intel China

Evelyn Yan Evelyn Yan assumed the position of Higher Education Manager of Intel China Software Center in Jun 2009. Her responsibility includes working with Intel Education team to enhance collaborations with the Chinese academic community, to enable innovative technologies, achieve Intel technology leadership and inspire talents, develop talent pipeline for the whole eco-system, as well as grow software people in Intel China.

Prior to her current role, Evelyn served as the Assistant of General Manager in Intel APAC R&D Corp. She provided administration support to Intel VP and GM, as well as the headquarters team including Joint Innovation Center. She deeply involved into site operation activities and chaired site admin council, besides leading the whole Intel China Software Center admin team. Evelyn Yan joined Intel in 2005, took the duty as administration and operation specialist.

Evelyn received her master degree in World Economics from Renmin University of China.

Gang Guan
PRC Higher Education Manager, China

Gang Guan Mr. Gang Guan is currently a PRC Higher Education Manager in Intel China Corporate Affairs Group. His responsibility includes managing PRC Higher Education programs focusing on Technology Entrepreneurship program, Joint University Research programs, and working closely with the PRC Higher Education team to drive other strategic programs on joint curriculum development, student & faculty programs and technology leadership programs with PRC universities.

Prior to joining Intel, Gang has been with Microsoft Research Asia for 5 years as University Relations Manager, responsible for university collaboration such as curriculum, joint research, student programs and other academic exchange programs.

Gang graduated from Tsinghua University majoring Information and Communication Engineering with a MS degree. Gang is also a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) by United States PMI (Project Management Institute).

Isaura Gaeta
Director of Global Program Office

Isaura Gaeta Isaura Gaeta is the Director of the Global Program Office for Corporate Affairs and is based out of Santa Clara, California. In this role Isaura is responsible for the Higher Education, K-12 Education, and Intel Community Outreach programs for Intel. Intel’s Education programs are currently in use in over 60 countries throughout the world. Isaura joined Intel in 1984 and prior to her move to Corporate Affairs she was the Director of the California Technology and Manufacturing silicon processing fab and has led the development of analog, logic, and flash process technologies at Intel. She received a B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Jay R Lee
Education Manager, Korea

Jay R Lee Jay Lee is Intel Korea Education Manager since 2001; her main responsibilities include working with national Governments, NGO and educators to support education improvement especially in the area of ICT in Education. Before joining Intel, she had 7 years of experience at Motorola as training, marketing and PR specialists. Jay Lee is from Graduate School of Education in Korea University and Korea University English and French major.

Jolly Wang
Intel China Higher Education Manager

Jolly Wang Ms. Jolly Wang has been working as Intel China Higher Education Program Manager for almost 8 years, her role focuses on collaboration with key universities, government, industry 3rd parties and stakeholders of Intel internal business divisions, to design, drive & implement long term and short term university programs and its strategies to help advance China higher education, to enhance the collaboration between Intel and academia, accelerate academic ecosystem enabling and build good relationship with government and universities. She is responsible for bringing the latest Intel technologies into university curriculum, with focused on embedded system, multi-core, etc, she also manages the pipeline programs and tech leadership programs such as Intel Fellowship, Intel Cup Embedded System Design Contest (ESDC), organizes various kinds of academic forums/lectures to support Intel reach the goal to build the world class citizenship and tech leadership in China.

Before Jolly joint Intel, she was working at Texas Instruments (TI) for its corporate marketing & communications in China, with focus on public relations, corporate marketing and co-marketing programs management.

Jolly holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Management Information System (MIS) of Tianjin University of Commerce. She is member of China International Public Relations Association.

JoZell Johnson
Global Manager, Intel® Higher Education Program

JoZell Johnson JoZell Johnson is the Global Manager of the Intel® Higher Education program. She sets strategy and implementation plans for the global higher education program and serves as a direct link into Intel Research.

Her areas of interest include developing the next generation of engineers and computer scientists to continue technology breakthroughs. Exploring new methods to engage all students to explore engineering careers and utilize technology is an ongoing passion.

She has held various positions within Intel, beginning with Single Board Computers Division (before the PC), Real Time Operating Systems Division, Intel Supercomputer and Intel Education. Within her roles at Intel Education she has worked extensively in the Higher Education area, developing technical and curricula programs, student programs and fostering direct relationships with Tier One Research Universities.

JoZell combines her undergraduate technical degree in Computer Science and her MBA to translate the technical aspects of her role and communicate them to others.

Julia Zhu
Education Manager, Intel China Ltd.

Julia Zhu Julia Zhu is the Education Manager for PRC. She manages the Education group in China, which carries forward the Intel ® Education Initiative in China encompassing programs ranging from K-12 education programs to Higher Education program. Her team works closely with the government and education communities to implement the education programs that are aiming at developing 21st century skills and better preparing the youth for the 21st century.

Julia joined Intel in August 1996 and assumed the role of Intel China Academic Relations Manager in 1998 who then developed and managed the university collaborations with key universities in China. Since 2001, Julia acts as the China Education Manager and is instrumental in developing the education team and expanded Intel’s education programs in China.

Julia received her bachelor’s degree in English Language and Master degree in Linguistics and Teaching Methodology, 1992 at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Julia graduated from Advanced Leadership program sponsored by Thunderbird Galvin School of Management executive management program in April, 2007.

Kai Qiao
TMG Higher Education Manager, China

Kai Qiao Kai’s main responsibility is to design & implement the higher and vocational education programs for the branches of Intel technology and manufacturing group (TMG) in China, including the assembly-test factories in Shanghai, Chengdu and the new 12in Fab in Dalian. Most of his efforts are put in the curriculum enabling, talents pool development, and Intel-university join research in the manufacturing sciences and technologies.

Kai joined Intel China in Feb 2006 as a Quality and Reliability Engineer in the department of assembly-test technology development (ATTD) and started current position from Jun 2007. Before joining Intel, he had been working with Philips for 2 years as an assembly process development engineer in Philips China technology center.

Kai won his bachelor’s degree in material science in 2001, and his master’s degree in electronic package in 2004 from the same university, Huazhong University of science and technology.

Mohd Hasri Mohd Harizan
Higher Education Manager, Malaysia

Mohd Hasri Mohd Harizan Mohd Hasri Mohd Harizan is the Higher Education Program Manager for the Intel Malaysia. He joined Intel Malaysia in January 1997 as a Production Superintendent focusing on Chipset Operation and managing a group of Manufacturing Specialist to achieve production output and goal. In 2001, he joined the Government & Public Affairs department and took the role of the site Higher Education Manager to lead the university liaison and efforts on technical seminar, curriculum development, researches and faculty development for the academe.

He graduated with a degree in the Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Utara Malaysia in 1995.

Naoko Yanagihara
Education Program Manager, Japan

Naoko Yanagihara Graduated with a degree in the Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Studies from Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan.

Joined Toppan Printing Co. Ltd, Tokyo, Japan and worked in Technology Development Division.

Graduated with MBA from Monterey Institute of International Studies, CA, USA.

Joined ITT World Directories (later VNU World Directories) and worked in a joint venture company with NTT in Tokyo, Japan as product development manager and sales support manager.

Joined Intel K.K., Tokyo Japan in 1999 as Internet Marketing Manager and managed consumer focused company website.

Took Education Program Manager position since 2004.

Nguyen Thu Trang
Higher Education Manager, Vietnam

Nguyen Thu Trang Trang is the Higher Education Manager for Intel Vietnam from 2007. Trang’s main responsibilities include setting directions for the HE program in Vietnam through working with Vietnam universities, Ministry of Education and Training on joint curriculum development and research projects and setting up joint labs, working with internal customers and across teams with the aim of driving the development and implementation of higher education program strategies mapped to Intel’s business goals and growth in Vietnam.

Before joining Intel, Trang had 10 year working experience as project manager for Nouvelle Planete, a Swiss-based NGO, English lecturer for Hanoi University of Business and Management and project assistant for Japan International Cooperation Agency in IT training and capacity building for IT Training Institute, National University Hanoi and Hanoi Agricultural University respectively.

Trang received a bachelor's degree in English language from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies (now named as Hanoi University) in 1998, a bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade from Hanoi Foreign Trade University in 2003 and a master degree in International Relations from International University of Japan in 2005.

Rachel Liu
Education Program Manager, Taiwan

Rachel Liu Rachel is responsible for all Taiwan local education related programs including Intel ISEF (Intel International Science and Engineering Fair), Higher Education Program, Intel® Teach Program (Intel's teacher training program) and Intel Computer Clubhouse.

Rachel has accumulated solid sales/marketing and project management experiences from her previous jobs at IT companies including business manager at Gartner, responsible for strategic positioning and business development of Gartner research and consulting in Taiwan. Also she works as senior marcom specialist for Adventech, responsible for product marketing and channel incentive program. Before the career in IT industry, Rachel was a journalist and executive producer of Chinese TV System, responsible for the production of "International Watchtower" (an in-depth and knowledge-wise weekly program featuring latest international events).

Rachel obtained her M.A. degree in International Law and Relations from National Cheng-chi University and B.A. degree in Diplomacy also from NCU.

Russell J. Campbell
APAC Marketing Manager

Russell J. Campbell Russ Campbell is the APAC Marketing Manager with the Intel Corporate Affairs Group, responsible for driving the marketing and communication strategies and goals of Intel education, community and environment programs in the Asia Pacific region. He joined the APAC team from CMG in March 2010.

Russ Campbell has held a variety of other marketing and technical roles in his 15 years at Intel. Before moving to the APAC CAG team, Russ was the Performance Messaging Manager for Business and Consumer products in SMG. Prior to that he supported Paul Otellini and other MCM members in the Corporate Events organization as an executive event producer. Russ brings a passion for creativity and effective storytelling to the APAC team.

Siek Kah Hee
Strategic Education Initiatives Manager, Malaysia

Siek Kah Hee Graduated with a degree in the Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics in 1989 and a PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics in 1994 from Wesleyan University in United States focusing in wide band-gap semiconductor defects.

Joined Intel Malaysia in May 1995 as a Failure Analysis Engineer in the Quality and Reliability department and instrumental in enabling successful Intel 0.25, 0.18 and 0.13 um technology Physical Failure Analysis. He then built the Physical Failure Analysis competency for the Malaysia Site Failure Analysis and also enabling Physical Failure Analysis in various other Intel Assembly Test Manufacturing sites.

In 2000, he then took on the challenge as the Intel Malaysia Site Technical Lab Manager.

In 2004, he embarked on a different position as the Intel Malaysia Education Program manager till today. He is not new to the education programs prior to joining the team as he has been a key contributor in the higher education efforts collaborating with local universities in pipeline and research development.

He has published 8 technical papers while in graduate school and 6 more technical papers while working in Intel.

Sumeet Verma
Higher Education Manager, India

Sumeet Verma Sumeet is responsible for product management of higher education programs including research initiatives, Intel embedded program etc. in India. He is in charge of the creation & execution of new product development and rollout strategy. He also drives the technical & social entrepreneurship initiatives for India

Sumeet is with Intel since 2003 and holds varied skills and knowledge from his technical, business and management experiences. Prior to this role he has been an Engineering Manager, managing a team of software engineers, as well as a Business Capability Manager, leading a global team & managing worldwide stakeholders on an enterprise product. He has also been Product manager/Business Analyst, and has managed several IT projects.

During 2008-2009, he was also part of the CSCI (Climate Savers) core team and was instrumental for its India Launch.

He has done M.S in Information Technology and holds B.E degree in Computer Science.

Sylvia Moon
Executive Administrator, APAC

Sylvia Moon Sylvia Moon has joined Corporate Affairs Group since April 2010 as the executive secretary to APAC regional director, Anjan Ghosh and to lead Korea community programs.

Prior to CAG, Sylvia was with Intel Sales and Marketing Group for 7 years where she has built strong relationship with Korea SMG employees. With her deep interest in the community field, she has been organizing and ran various community programs with employees for several years.

Sylvia has graduated from the University of British Columbia, Canada with Bachelor Degree in Science and completed MBA with major in Marketing from Yonsei University, Korea.
