Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam with a population of approximately 7 million people.It is the largest economic and financial hub of Vietnam and accounts for a high proportion of Vietnam's economy. Tipping
Tipping is not usually expected in Vietnam but it is often greatly appreciated. Some upscale hotels and restaurants will include a service charge on the bill.

Major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and JCB are widely accepted in most major cities and tourist areas. Be aware that there is often a 3% or higher commission charged on credit card transactions. It is smart to check the commission rate. American Express is less widely accepted and typically carries a higher commission rate.
