The Intel Education Awards contest for 2008-2009 was launched in October 2008. 250 entries were received from teachers across the country. Similarly many schools submitted case studies to show evidence of effective integration of technology.

22 teachers were awarded technology prizes, whilst 1 school won a Technology Grant of Rs. 50,000 each.
