This course has been created to help acquire technology literacy skills and develop 21st century teaching and learning approaches.

"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge", Albert Einstein.

Teachers nominated by the IT office were trained at the PITE lab, from 19th-24th November, 2007 who then imparted the trainings to the District Trainers posted at the 12 districts.

The District Trainers imparted trainings to the primary school teachers, at the district level. Two batches at each district were trained from 3rd-8th Dec, 2007 and again from 10th-15th Dec, 2007 resulting in 48 batches being covered in the first phase. Each trained batch had a showcasing for key stakeholders from the surrounding areas at the end of the training.
