Competition received overwhelming response with 8 finalist teams shortlisted for the final private presentation in Sep 2006. Top honors were bagged by Subramani R from Richcore India winning the first place, Bikash Barai from I Viz Techno Solutions at the second place and Dr. Girish Saraph from Vegayan Systems in a close third. Winning team walked away with a whopping Rs 3 lacs, 1st Runners Up received Rs 1 lac and the 2nd Runners Up received Rs 50,000 as cash grants.
Rich Core and I Viz India represented India at Intel + UC-Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge held on 24-26 Oct 2006. The two teams representing India were selected in the top 8 for the finals and team Rich Core bagged the First Runners Up with $10000 cash grants in the finals. Our initiatives also received recognition at Berkeley for a great example of a public-private partnership.

DST-Intel India Innovation Pioneers Challenge has been graced by an unprecedented gallery of eminent experts who have ensured that, plans have strong fundamentals with their mentoring. After rigorous mentoring of six months, Finals was held in May 2007 to decide the teams who would receive the top honors.
Winners, team Sparsha from IIT-Kharagpur walked away with a whopping Rs 3 lacs, 1st Runners Up received Rs 1 lac and the 2nd Runners Up received Rs 50,000 as cash grants. 1st Runners Up position was bagged by team Singularis from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology-Delhi and 2nd Runners Up positions was bagged by team Interface from IIM-Kolkata.
The top 2 teams from this category also get an opportunity to compete globally at the Intel + UC-Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge in Oct 2007 to be held at Berkeley.
