Intel Taiwan recognised as CSR role model

Intel Taiwan has been recognised as a leader in corporate responsibility by Global Views magazine – receiving the 'CSR Role Model Award' for the Intel Teach program. The company was awarded for its support in promoting ICT in education in Taiwan for more than a decade. This program was lauded for not only helping students and teachers reach their full potential, but supporting Taiwan's long term economic growth for fostering more effective use of technology.

The award committee comprised a panel including the President of the National Taiwan University alumni association, members of the government and academia. Stanley Huang, managing director, Advanced Technical Sales & Services, Intel Asia Pacific, represented the company at the awards ceremony.

The Intel Teach program was launched in 2007 with the Taiwan Ministry of Education to enhance the use of ICT in education. As part of the program, Intel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Taiwan Ministry of Education for mandatory training for all K-12 teachers.
