From August 8-10, 25 Intel Involved volunteers participated in releasing 178 baby turtles into the sea and adopting 68 nests. Volunteers also donated a satellite transmitter worth US$10,000 on an adult green turtle to assist WWF Malaysia identify important coastal turtle habitats, nesting periods, turtle migration routes and foraging areas.

Intel Malaysia also strives to raise the bar on its environmental practices. Visitors have ranged from governmental organizations and agencies such as DOSH & NIOSH, external bodies and NGOs, as well as higher learning institutions such as Prince Songkla University of Thailand.
