The Channel Warranty Replacement Program features two warranty service types for channel program members

• Advanced Warranty Replacement (AWR) is Intel's limited (see below) premium warranty benefit available ONLY to eligible channel program members who purchase qualifying Intel products from Intel Authorized Distributors.

• Standard Warranty Replacement (SWR) is Intel's basic warranty service level available to all members of the Intel Channel Membership Programs.

The following information will be required to process warranty requests:

• Proof of purchase
• AWR service only: proof of purchase must be from an Intel Authorized Distributor
• Intel Channel Membership Program membership number
• Email address of customer
• Name of the product
• Product code
• Serial number-Spec + FPO for processors
• Description of the problem
• Shipping address

We can only send a replacement part under SWR once we have received the faulty part. Please make sure the faulty part has been returned. You can track the status of your order online by visiting the Online Tool see http://support.intel.com/services/warranty/cws/eng/amr/index.htm.

You may have already reached your AWR entitlement limit, check your entitlement limits online see http://www.intel.com/reseller/.

Our order management system is designed to automatically send confirmation Emails to customers, however, you may have some antispam software setup in your system which is automatically deleting the confirmations sent to you, or you may have a different Email address set up in your company profile. Check "My Profile" on our Reseller centre see http://www.intel.com/reseller/.

You can manage all your account profile details including Email addresses, additional contacts etc. by going to "My Profile" in the Intel® Reseller Centre. Go to http://www.intel.com/reseller/.

Then click on your language (over the European region), log-in by providing your Login ID and Password, then go to "My Account".

Then for customers entering in English: click on "Edit my profile"; customers entering in other languages will go directly to "My profile" when clicking on "My account".

Choose the relevant information to be changed, change and click on "save".

No. Engineering samples are pre productions units, issued free of charge and are not entitled to warranty.

OEM/Tray CPUs are not covered in the Channel Warranty Replacement service. You should go back to your point of Purchase for warranty on OEM/Tray CPUs.

Yes if your product is still inside it's warranty period, EOL stands for End Of Life which means the product is no longer been manufactured, EOIS stands for End Of Interactive Support which means there is no longer technical support available for the specific product. The warranty period is independent of these two product states.

The part identification number can usually be found on the part itself in addition to this the Channel Warranty Online Tool on the reseller centre has a help option to assist you in identifying the part number www.intel.com/reseller/.

The Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) or Order number is the reference number for your return, all returns to Intel must be clearly labelled with this reference this number so it can be identified when received at our returns depot. You will receive the RMA/Order number on the email confirmation sent to you after submitting your warranty request.

When sending product/s to Intel for warranty claims, it is strongly recommended to use original packaging, however if original packaging is not available you should package the product appropriately to prevent any physical damage during shipping. Intel’s warranty does not cover damage and Intel is not responsible for product that has been physically damaged prior to or during transit.

When sending back CPU under warranty it is preferred that the fan is returned at the same time. This will allow our engineers to carry out appropriate tests on the returned device to find the cause of the failure.

Our policy is to replace like for like, only in exceptional circumstances do we replace with a different product (i.e. a known issue with the revision being returned).

The order confirmation you receive by email will contain all the return instructions you need, including the return address.

All instructions our preferred courier (DHL) may need from you can be found on the confirmation Email you receive after submitting a warranty request.
