Summary:
An erratum in BIOS PO2 disables the USB ports in the SMSC Super I/O Controller causing four USB ports to stop functioning. This erratum does not affect the USB ports adjacent to the audio connectors. To correct this issue, download and install BIOS P01 from: http://developer.intel.com/design/motherbd/genbios.htm
This erratum will be corrected in BIOS P03, which should be available in March 2002. This issue does not affect D845BGSE products with USB 2.0.

The two back panel USB ports adjacent to the PS2 ports, and the two Front Panel USB ports stop functioning after updating to BIOS P02 on Intel® Desktop Boards D845BG and D845PT.
