Intel® Express Installer CD for Intel® Desktop Board D915PGN fails when used with some localized language versions of Microsoft* Windows* XP and Windows*2000
The current versions (C64206-001/-002) of the Intel® Express Installer CD for Intel® Desktop Board D915PGN function only with the English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, and Russian versions of Microsoft* Windows* XP and Windows*2000.
When using the Express Installer CD in a D915PGN system with any other localized language version of Windows XP or Windows 2000, the following error will occur after Express Installer starts up:
After clicking ‘OK’, the Express Installer interface will come up blank as shown below:
Workaround:
After installing Windows XP or Windows 2000 and Service Packs, manually install each driver from the Express Installer CD using ‘My Computer’ within Windows or selecting the ‘Browse CD’ button from the Express Installer interface. Navigate to the driver or software application setup files. Drivers should be installed in the order listed below.

Intel is working on a new version (C64206-003) of the Express Installer CD for desktop board D915PGN to correct the error and function with all localized versions of Windows XP and Windows 2000.
