This list of chassis has been provided to Intel dealers as an aid in the system integration process. Intel has determined that the chassis meet MINIMUM electrical, thermal, mechanical fit and functional compatibility with the Intel® D865GLC desktop board and Intel Pentium® 4 processor operating at 3.0 GHz. These chassis were tested at an ambient room temperature of 35°C with the following peripherals installed:

• 2 Infineon* 256 MB PC3200 DDR400 memory modules
• Nvidia* Geforce* 4 8X AGP Video Graphics Card
• Seagate* 7200RPM SATA-100 Hard Disk Drive
• Teac* 3.5" Floppy Disk Drive
• Hewlett Packard* CD-R/RW/DVD Disk Drive
• 2 PCI Resistive Load Cards

Thermal evaluations for specific system configurations are considered the responsibility of the integrator and/or system OEM.

The following tests were performed on each chassis to ensure proper performance of the boxed Intel D865PERL using the Pentium 4 processor:

The thermally advantaged chassis listed below are those that provide 38°C or lower air inlet temperature to the processor fan heatsink when tested with the configuration described above.
