Intel has discovered a temperature sensor reading abnormality on some recent Intel® D850GB Desktop Boards. This issue may cause incorrect Zone 1 temperature sensor readings as reported by Intel® Active Monitor.

A new version of Intel® Active Monitor version 1.15 will be released to fix this reporting issue. The new version of Intel Active Monitor is expected to be released October 10, 2001 and will be available for download at http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d850gb
A new BIOS is also expected to be released October 10, 2001 and will be available for download at http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d850gb


Only certain AA# (Altered Assemby numbers) are affected.
