The audio driver included on the Intel® Desktop Boards D845GLAD, and D845GLLY Express Installer CD is only able to install correctly on the English language versions of Microsoft operating systems. Attempting to install the audio driver under other languages may result in “An installation component failure occurred" error message, even though the driver does install correctly. Express Installer will then continue to report that the audio driver as “not installed”.

Resolution: Express Installer CD's with an updated audio driver for Windows* that does not report an installation component failure will begin shipping with the boards listed above starting in June 2002.
