Intel Corporation has worked closely with the open source development community and developed a cost effective solution for the education market running on Intel® Desktop Boards. The Intel® Integrated Solution Kit for Education (Intel ISKE) is a solution "stack" of both hardware and software, customized for the education community, which enables Intel® Channel Partner Program Members to build PCs that provide key tools for teachers, students and school administrators.
The Intel ISKE includes an Intel Desktop Board and a collection of open source software applications (such as Moodle*), middleware components, software drivers, documentation, and tools to help you design, build and sell desktop platforms based on Intel® products running Linux* operating system (initially supporting Red Hat*; support for Mandriva* and Novell* will be added later this year).
