Print on polycarbonate or vinyl

• The recommended construction of the customizable laptop panel is 0.16mm thick polycarbonate. In addition to polycarbonate, vinyl is also a good choice.
• To enhance durability, the image is usually printed on the interior surface and viewed though the plastic; consequently a transparent polymer is needed. The material should be rugged enough to last the desired time period.

• To protect the image, ultraviolet absorbers and a surface hard coat should also be incorporated into the material.

Provide the panel with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) material with liner in one or both of the following types:

• Replaceable: Recommend 3M9425HT or equivalent with a 13 mm (.005 in.) thick clear acrylic adhesive with a 58# polycoated 50g/in. kraft liner.
• Permanent: Recommend 3M467MP, 3M 468P or equivalent with a.0.05 mm ( .002 in.) to 0.13 mm (.005 in.) thick clear acrylic adhesive and a 58# polycoated 50g/in. kraft liner.

Provide the panel to the exact dimensions to fit in the laptop recess

The panel dimensions are shown below. Corners should be cut to a radius of 2.0mm +/- 0.127mm. The adhesive should be sheet type of good durability and needs to completely cover the interior surface of the customizable laptop panel. Need to be able to cut to the right X-Y dimensions shown in below image and table.
