Thermal solutions now sold separately
The Intel Xeon processor 5500 series will not include a heat sink in the box. Intel® Thermal Solutions STS100 Series will be sold separately. This packaging change will provide more purchasing flexibility and reduce waste and cost for customers with other sources for heat sinks.
