Frequently Asked Questions

To change the company name on your customer account you need to provide us with two documents:

1. A letter on company letterhead which is signed by either the owner (if a private company) or the Managing Director.

The letter text needs to include the following information:

• Intel® Membership Number
• Previous company name
• Mailing address details
• New company name
• Effective date of company name change

2. A certificate of incorporation showing the change to the new company name. For security reasons both these documents should be sent by post (not via fax or email) to:

We will then update your customer account information to reflect your new company name.

To add one or more primary contacts to your customer account, please write to us on company letterhead which is signed by either the owner (if a private company) or the Managing Director. The company name on the letterhead must be the same as the registered name for your Intel® account and include your company registration number, your company’s membership number and the case reference number if the query is logged with Channel Support.

For each primary contact you must include the following information:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Full telephone number, including country code
• Fax number
• Email Address
• Preferred language for communication with Intel
• Full postal mailing address

Please note that if you wish to register more than one primary contact, you will need to provide this information for each contact. For security reasons both these documents should be sent by post (not via fax or email) to:

For security reasons we are unable to provide you with your primary contact’s login details. It is their responsibility to make sure other personnel in your company have access to your account on the Intel web site as necessary during their absence.

For security reasons, only the primary contact can add additional users to your company account.

For security reasons only the primary contact can change address details.

Signing the CTLA is a legal requirement for program membership and it also means you can take advantage of the program benefits. All you have to do is click to accept on line at http://www.intel.com/reseller/license.

Your Membership number is on your membership certificate.

It also appears in your online account. To check your membership number:

1. Visit http://www.intel.com/reseller
2. Select your region (blue for Europe Middle East & Africa)
3. Select your language in the pop-up box
4. When the new screen appears enter your login ID and password in the boxes
5. Press ‘Enter’
6. Click on “My Account” (appears underneath “Welcome…..”)
7. Beneath “My Business,” click on “My business details”
8. Underneath “My Business”, click on “My business details”

The Membership account number is a unique identifier for Intel® resellers. You need a separate membership account for each purchasing address location in your company. So, for instance, if you had several branches in your company which were all Intel resellers, each branch would need their own individual member accounts. But you cannot have more than one account registered to the same company address.
