Evaluation of 8,000 Intel® vPro™ technology-powered desktop PCs showed a 20% reduction in desk-side visits and a corresponding 10% drop in costs. Time to reconfigure a PC after hardware or software issues was reduced from 24 hours down to just two.
Impact
Reduced desk-side visits mean IT administrators have more time to spend on strategic IT projects and initiatives. Remote power-up facilities also enable time and power savings as well as enhanced business productivity as updates can be made at any time.
