Intel partners with youth science educators Actua and Youth Science Foundation Canada (YSF) to strengthen the pool of industry experts, educators and researchers as mentors to support Canadian youth science education, careers and innovations
In support of Intel's worldwide corporate objectives of supporting science, math, and technology education, Intel Canada has undertaken a new initiative, inspireyouth.ca. Intel Canada is partnering with the two premier science education organizations in Canada - YSF and Actua - to deliver mentor support programs that encourage more students to pursue science education and careers. This initiative will support the mentoring programs at each organization and accelerate a healthier science and tech community.
Intel Canada has been a supporter of YSF's regional science fair program, a sponsor of the Computing & Information Technology Division of the Canada Wide Science Fair, and an annual sponsor of YSF Team Canada, the team of students which represents Canada at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. The YSF mentor program strives to address the special needs of students who are currently competing in science competitions of all levels, for one-on-one mentoring.

Additionally, Intel Canada is a proud supporter of Actua and its mentorship program. The Actua mentor program supports younger students by inspiring them to experience the joy of science and encouraging them to compete in their local science fairs. Using a group mentoring model, Actua runs science clubs and camps in 375 Canadian communities.

If mentorship is not possible, both of these outstanding organizations require additional financial support for their programs and would be happy to discuss corporate sponsorship opportunities.
