ABOUT INTEL COLORADO
Intel Colorado is committed to making a difference in the community. Employees at our facility in Longmont and at the Fort Collins Design Center reported more than 8,000 hours of volunteer work in their local communities during 2009. Through the Intel® Involved Matching Grant Program, which matches volunteer hours with cash grants, these efforts helped fund local schools and nonprofit organizations. We are also proud of our employees’ contributions to the Intel Community Giving Campaign for the United Way, which raised over USD 500,000 in 2009.
Intel Colorado’s community involvement also extends to higher learning institutions in the area, such as Colorado State University and the University of Northern Colorado. We help students pursue advanced technical degrees and apply the latest in computer technology.

Community Involvement
Intel's employees in Colorado believe it’s important to support the community where they live and work. Here are just a few of the ways Intel employees make a difference in Colorado:
Intel Colorado employees serve on the boards of local nonprofit organizations.
During the holidays, Colorado employees prepare Thanksgiving meals for families in need, grant wishes for seniors, support the Toys for Tots program, and play "Santa" to children who have a parent deployed with the armed services.
K-12 Education
Intel believes in the value of education and implements a wide variety of programs that promote math, science, engineering, and technology in Colorado schools. These programs help develop the workforce of the future and promote educational opportunities among women and minorities.
Intel® Teach Program
The Intel® Teach Program is a worldwide effort designed to help teachers integrate technology into their classrooms to enhance student learning. The program has trained more than 4,000 teachers in Colorado. Through Intel Teach, students learn valuable skills, such as collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving, and how to apply them to daily life.
