| Congratulations to the 2007 Intel
Schools of Distinction Winners! |
Six schools were honored at a black tie event in Washington, D.C. on October 4, 2007 for their excellence in mathematics and science education. Each school received a grant for $10,000. Of the six winners, Bergen County Academies was named the Star Innovator and received an additional $15,000 grant for a grand total of $25,000, as well as supplemental services and products from award sponsors.

The top six winners were among 18 schools who qualified as Intel Schools of
Distinction finalists. These finalists were chosen from public and private, as
well as urban and suburban, schools that participated in the application and
judging process. Intel would also like to honor these 12 schools for their
commitment to science and mathematics excellence.
